Int(a) produces error. Why?

Q. Int(‘a’) produces error. Why? 

Answer :

Int (‘a’) produces an error because here ‘a’ is a string, while int function is used to change numbers from fractions to integer. but here ‘a’ is a string so when int function work then it produces error .
