Q. Explain the structure of an email message. Also differentiate between cc: and bcc: fields.
Answer =
• The general format of an email address is local-part@domain, and a specific example is pathwalla@example.com. Thus, an address consists of two principal parts, a username and a domain name. The domain name is used to transport a mail message to the host of the recipient's mail system.
Difference between cc: and bcc: fields:-
• When you send an email to several people using the normal "To:" or "Cc;" fields, all of their email addresses are clearly displayed in the message.
• When you use BCC to send email to more than one person, the email addresses of your recipients will not be displayed in the emails.
